I can support students with current grade-level content by helping with current homework assignments, reviewing past assessments, and assisting with study guides for upcoming tests.
Problem Solving Skills
Successful students are students with logic and problem solving skills. This is an area not explicitly taught in schools, and I can build this skill with a series of brainteaser activities.
IEP Incorporation
For students with an IEP issued from their school, I can tailor tutoring sessions to focus on specific IEP goals while assisting with homework, reviews, or when working with supplemental materials.
Foundational Support
Some students have missed out on foundational information that is critical to building knowledge. I can target missing skills that help your child access grade level curriculum.
Meet Your Tutor
My name is Monica Rosete, and I’m an elementary teacher who is looking for new students to mentor.
Teaching gives me life! While I loved teaching full time, I saw that there was a real need to provide students with extra support that schools are just not able to give to every child (there are simply not enough hours in the day). Unfortunately, many students have suffered some learning loss, and it can be a struggle to catch them up. That is why I decided to go into private tutoring: to support students individually and meet their own personal needs.
For students to truly engage in grade level content, they need a strong foundation, confidence, and problem solving skills. That is where I come in! It is my goal to narrow the learning gap so that your child has the best chance to succeed in school!
